 Hi I'm Rechelle, the director of Lamonde. I have been in the hairdressing industry for 17years since completing my certificate in hairdressing at TAFE with a distinction and am a licensed hairdresser. I completed my apprenticeship at the end of 1997, and in 1998 I established Lamonde from scratch. I started the business to build a reputation in the industry, to be my own boss, to serve clients in my own way and to develop an excellent business. I have completed an extensive amount of colour technical courses in many different companies including, Keune , L'Oreal, Delorenzo , Joico , Matrix, Wella , Goldwell and many more so I feel that I have a lot of knowledge from all aspects of the Hairdressing industry. I was highly trained in 2001 in Bionic Permanent Hair Straightening and have had a lot of experience in that field as I have a massive clientele in that specific market.In 2004 I completed a course for Raccoon Hair Extensions, which have also been very popular in our salon. I am very much an entrepreneur and am constantly bettering myself to help develop my team and my business to be beyond expectations. I have completed many business related courses, including '2007 Leadership in Management' which was run by L'Oreal .I also achieved my Certificate 3 in Beauty Therapy at Coastal Collage in Wyong in 2005.The future of Lamonde can only take us to bigger and better places. I will, in the future have a chain of 'Lamondes' in the Newcastle and Sydney Regions. |

Aleica Pace
Hi, my name is Aleica and I’m the third year apprentice at Lamonde.
All I’ve ever wanted to be ever since I was a little girl was a hairdresser, so when I saw the advertisement in the paper I knew I had to apply.
I came into the salon to fill out an application form then Rechelle asked me to come in for an interview. After the interview I was asked back again for a trial. The trial was so fun and I couldn’t wait to hear back from them again. I was at school at the time when Sarah rang me to tell me I had a second trial.When I got there, Rechelle told me that I had got the job, I was ecstatic. I was dead set speechless. I was so happy that I didn’t know what to do. I started working on Thursday nights and Saturdays until I finished school, I then started full time work .I have been working at Lamonde for nearly 2 years now and I love it! The girls are the nicest, funniest people and the clients are so nice.I love working here and I love coming to work every day. The best part about it is that everyone gets along and it is always fun! |

On the 29th March I graduated TAFE!
Our final assessment was to do a plan for special events, which meant basically we had all day to style our model, including HAIR, MAKEUP, OUTFIT, THE WHOLE KIT & CABOODLE!
My theme for this assessment was Circ Du Soleil.
It was a spectacular event and the hairdo’s created were immaculate!
The assignment was judged at the end of the night by Industrial judges, when they came up for a closer look.
AND THE WINNER Is…..Aleica Pace from Lamonde hair face body, taking out
1st prize Industrial Award & 2nd prize for Long Hair Services!” |

Cindy Ritchie
Hi my name’s Cindy and I’m a casual Receptionist here at La Monde. I have been the Director Rechelle’s best friend for many years, and in fact was there when she first opened her doors right here in Toukley 11 years ago.Since then I have lived overseas working as a flight attendant for Emirates airline and I have also managed several high end fashion stores of worldwide recognition. Although I have gained wonderful experience in many different industries, I have now returned to the one I know and LOVE best!It is a pleasure to be working for such a fantastic salon with such a BRILLIANT team of stylists and colourists, that all compliment and drive each other, and for me there is nothing more rewarding than knowing you are making people look and feel good about themselves on a daily basis, it sometimes doesn’t even feel like work!This industry is where my true passion lies and I’m sure Ill be a part of the La Monde brand for many many years to come. Linda Warwick
Hi everyone, My name is Linda Warwick and I am the team manager of Lamonde Hair Face and Body, just a little bit about me, I have been hairdressing 10yrs, I started my apprenticeship back when I was 15 with La Monde and also completed it here as well before I set off to see the world for a couple of yrs. I’ve now been back with La Monde since December and loving it, the staff are the most well trained team I have ever worked with and their work speaks for itself, they surprise me every day with new innovative styles they come up with, all very naturally gifted. Hi my name is Ashlea, I was previously employed with Lamonde in 2009 for 8mths then I had a short break and now I’ve come back since February 2010 (couldn’t stay away from Lamonde). The staff at Lamonde are so great to work with and very helpful as im fine tuning the art of my craft. This year I will be attending so many courses and cant wait, hairdressing is my passion, its all ive ever wanted to do. Hello, its Jazmin here, the newest(previous) recruit to Team La Monde!
Just wanted to introduce myself and tell all of our VALUED La Monde clients a little bit about me. I began my hairdressing career 7 1/2 years ago, completing all training at Gosford TAFE and graduating with an award for Most Achieved! I absolutely LOVE all aspects of the industry and I specialize in weddings & upstyles. I was previously a member of team La Monde, and during my absence I found the love of my life, got married and have just had my first baby, a son named Talan. In my spare time, I really enjoy quality time with my family, keeping fit and trying to brush up on my second language-Spanish! Im so excited to be coming back to La Monde and hope to see lots of old familiar faces, so come on in and see me all you Muchacha’s, lets get the sangria flowing, and shake things up again at La Monde!

Hi I’m Toby I am 17 year old Junior Hairdresser, I had the chance to work in Melbourne in a very prestigious salon for 3 months prior to recieveing my job here at La Monde’. I am an outgoing People person who enjoys working with a team, I have a true passion for hair, makeup and all aspects of beautifying the Human image. I do my best to achieve ALL goals I set for myself. In my own time I love hanging with my friends, shopping, im a major shop a holic. I luv the beach, not really the water but love the sun, I also love acoustic music.
