 Hi I'm Rechelle, the director of Lamonde. I have been in the hairdressing industry for 17years since completing my certificate in hairdressing at TAFE with a distinction and am a licensed hairdresser. I completed my apprenticeship at the end of 1997, and in 1998 I established Lamonde from scratch. I started the business to build a reputation in the industry, to be my own boss, to serve clients in my own way and to develop an excellent business. I have completed an extensive amount of colour technical courses in many different companies including, Keune , L'Oreal, Delorenzo , Joico , Matrix, Wella , Goldwell and many more so I feel that I have a lot of knowledge from all aspects of the Hairdressing industry. I was highly trained in 2001 in Bionic Permanent Hair Straightening and have had a lot of experience in that field as I have a massive clientele in that specific market.In 2004 I completed a course for Raccoon Hair Extensions, which have also been very popular in our salon. I am very much an entrepreneur and am constantly bettering myself to help develop my team and my business to be beyond expectations. I have completed many business related courses, including '2007 Leadership in Management' which was run by L'Oreal .I also achieved my Certificate 3 in Beauty Therapy at Coastal Collage in Wyong in 2005.The future of Lamonde can only take us to bigger and better places. I will, in the future have a chain of 'Lamondes' in the Newcastle and Sydney Regions. |

Sheena Kay
Hi, my names Sheena and I am a Senior Stylist at Lamonde.I have over 10 years experience in Hairdressing and have had amazing opportunities to work with some of the best in the industry including Jo Bailey and Ellis Perry.I have also competed in various colouring, cutting and Styling competitions and have achieved many awards for my work.I have been at Lamonde for over a year now and absolutely love it.I love working with all the girls here at Lamonde. It’s a really happy & enjoyable salon to work in with everyone being incredible team players.For my future I wish to give every one of my clients 110% at Lamonde and hope they have an awesome experience within this great salon.I really look forward to meeting everyone and anyone who enters Lamonde. |

Sarah Townsend
Hi, my names Sarah and i was a finalist for Young Achiever award in the 2009 Business awards. I'm one of the Senior stylists here at Lamonde. I've always had a passion for hairdressing as I love to make people look and feel great and believe Hairdressing fosters my creative side. I have been at Lamonde my whole Hairdressing career. I started off working here as a salon assistant while I was still in school then began my apprenticeship after finishing year 10.I graduated from TAFE in June this year with mostly credits and distinctions as well as completing many other courses.Some including: Bio Ionic Permanent Hair Straightening, Raccoon Hair Extensions, DCI institute cutting courses, Keune Colour courses,L'Oreal Professional Colour courses, PPS Colourwear Courses, up styling courses, Kaylene Lewis and many more. I love doing all these courses as I can bring back my knowledge and experience back to Lamonde and my clients. I am a Specialist in Hair extensions come in and see me for your free consultation.The best thing about working at Lamonde is the amount of satisfaction my job offers. I love meeting new people and the feeling of achievement when I completely make over somebody and make them feel great about themselves. We have such a dedicated team here at Lamonde. We all get along so well and I think a lot of our clients can see what a difference having the right team on board has made to the overall salon atmosphere.. |

Aleica Pace
Hi, my name is Aleica and I’m the third year apprentice at Lamonde.
All I’ve ever wanted to be ever since I was a little girl was a hairdresser, so when I saw the advertisement in the paper I knew I had to apply.
I came into the salon to fill out an application form then Rechelle asked me to come in for an interview. After the interview I was asked back again for a trial. The trial was so fun and I couldn’t wait to hear back from them again.I was at school at the time when Sarah rang me to tell me I had a second trial.When I got there, Rechelle told me that I had got the job, I was ecstatic. I was dead set speechless. I was so happy that I didn’t know what to do.I started working on Thursday nights and Saturdays until I finished school, I then started full time work.I have been working at Lamonde for nearly 2 years now and I love it! The girls are the nicest, funniest people and the clients are so nice.I love working here and I love coming to work every day. The best part about it is that everyone gets along and it is always fun! |

Hey I am Amy-May and i am a new first year apprentice which will lead into an apprenticeship in 2009 at Lamonde!The staff is all so friendly; they welcomed me with open arms. Although I have only been working there for only 3 months they already have taught me so much. I feel completely comfortable around them it’s a great working environment. I Know I will succeed being a great hairdresser because I am getting taught by the best.I look up to my co workers I know that I will reach my goal and become as good as them. |

Cindy Ritchie
Hi my name’s Cindy and I’m a casual Receptionist here at La Monde.I have been the Director Rechelle’s best friend for many years, and in fact was there when she first opened her doors right here in Toukley 11 years ago.Since then I have lived overseas working as a flight attendant for Emirates airline and I have also managed several high end fashion stores of worldwide recognition.Although I have gained wonderful experience in many different industries, I have now returned to the one I know and LOVE best!It is a pleasure to be working for such a fantastic salon with such a BRILLIANT team of stylists and colourists, that all compliment and drive each other, and for me there is nothing more rewarding than knowing you are making people look and feel good about themselves on a daily basis, it sometimes doesn’t even feel like work!This industry is where my true passion lies and I’m sure Ill be a part of the La Monde brand for many many years to come.I look forward to meeting you all in the salon soon! Hi, my names Kyle and I am a Senior Stylist at Lamonde.I have been hairdressing now for 4 years and have been very lucky to have worked in some of the best salons around.I am going to Holland next year to become a Keune Master Colourist 2010 . I have also been a stylist for Woman’s Day magazine and the T.V show "Search for a Super Model" And now, at Lamonde it couldn’t be better!My passion is Hair dressing and I have a great fashion sense- I think the two go together!I class myself as a new age Hairdresser; I love a challenge and am always up for a good time. My goal for 2009 is to compete in competitions and make a name for myself.So if you're looking for a new, funky, up-beat style.I’m in training as we speak to becoming Lamonde’s Creative director I am also the Technical Trainer of the up and coming new juniors of the salon |
